Öz
To try to define a science is the most demanding issue. Keeping in minde this, this paper is more than a clear-cut enterprise to define Kalam, rather it tries to give an outline within which a nex definition is a must to be developed. Accordinly, some definitions of Kalam have been given to form a base on which new definitions are to be developed and evaluated. Our study is a preliminary to his definition and in much need of its readers contribution.
