Öz
Prophets are distinguished persons conveying the divine message to humans and they play the main part in teaching and understanding religion in its original form. Prophets enjoy the esteem and respect of people through the message they hold from God, so any disrespectfulness against them is indeed an insult against divine message. So obedience to whole prophets is commanded in the holy Qur?an. This paper treats this subject and discusses the theological roots of the subject, especially regarding the prophet Muhammad.
