In this article the overall philosophical thoughts are summed up first and then compared to and with those of theological. In this line we followed and compared Greek atomism, Indian atomism and atomism of Abû Zakariya al- Râzî in order to make it convenient base to discuss Kalam atomism. The striking difference between Kalam atomism and that of others is that the former considers atom as finite as opposed to others. Ceartainly this arises from the religious world view of the thinkers, i.e. they reserved finite versus infinite to corralate to the Created being and Creator. Other importans difference is that Greek atomism does not accept any external intervention to atoms for their becoming and destruction unlike the Indian and Muslim atomism which defend an open universe with its atomistic structure is open to be intervened by One who is other than this structure.
