TUTUM, HUKUKSAL YAPI VE ETNİK-DİLSEL ÇEŞİTLİLİĞİN GELİR ÜZERİNDEKİ ETKİSİ

Öz

Bu çalışmanın amacı ülkelerin hukuk sistemi, tutum ve etnik-dilsel çeşitliliğin kişi başına düşen milli gelir üzerindeki etkisini analiz etmektir. 1990-2012 yıllarını kapsayan dönemde 146 gelişmiş ve gelişmekte olan ülke verisiyle elde edilen tahmin sonuçlarına göre hukuk sistemi ve tutum kişi başına düşen gelir üzerinde pozitif yönlü ve istatistiksel olarak oldukça anlamlı bir etkiye sahiptir. Etnik-dilsel çeşitlilik kişi başına düşen milli gelir üzerinde negatif yönlü ve istatistiksel olarak oldukça anlamlı bir etkiye sahiptir. Ancak etnik-dilsel çeşitliliğin gelişmiş ülkelerde gelir düzeyi üzerindeki etkisi pozitif yöne dönmektedir ve bu etki istatistiksel olarak anlamlıdır. Diğer değişkenlerden tutum gelir üzerinde negatif yönlü, hukuksal yapı pozitif yönlü etkiye sahiptir. Gelişmekte olan ülkelerde de hukuk sistemi ve tutum kişi başına düşen gelir üzerinde pozitif yönlü etnik-dilsel çeşitlilik negatif yönlü bir etkiye sahiptir.

THE IMPACT OF LATITUDE, COMMON LAW AND ETHNO-LINGUISTIC FRACTIONALIZATION ON INCOME

Öz

The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of common law, latitude and ethno-linguistic fractionalization indicators of countries on the per capita income. According to the estimate results that were obtained from the data of 146 developed and developing countries between 1990-2012, legal system and latitude have a positive impact on per capita income that is statistically meaningful. On the other hand, ethno-linguistic fractionalization have a negative impact on per capita income that is statistically meaningful. But the impact of ethno-linguistic fractionalization on the per capita income in developed countries is taking a positive turn, which is statistically meaningful. Amongst other variables, latitude has a negative and legal structure has a positive impact of per capita income. In developed countries, common law and latitude have a positive and ethnical variables have a negative impact on per capita income
