Özet: Araştırma, Çukurova koşullarında ot verimi bakımından ümitvar görülen bazı yaygın fiğ (Vicia sativa L.) genotiplerinin kalite özelliklerinin belirlenmesi amacıyla, 2009/2010 kışlık ara ürün yetiştirme döneminde, Doğankent ve Balcalı/ADANA lokasyonlarında, tesadüf blokları deneme desenine göre 4 tekrarlamalı olarak yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada; kuru madde verimi (KMV), ham protein oranı (HPO), nötr deterjan lif (NDF), asit deterjan lif (ADF), ham selüloz (HS), ham kül (HK), kalsiyum (Ca), potasyum (K), magnezyum (Mg), fosfor (P) gibi bazı kalite özellikleri ile bu özellikler arasındaki ilişkiler saptanmıştır. Lokasyonlara ve genotiplere göre değişmekle birlikte, kuru madde verimi 383-603 kg/da, ham protein oranın %15.9-19.6, NDF %35.3-44.4, ADF %28.4-34.1, HS %22.3-27.6, Ca %0.86-1.04, K %3.54-4.05, Mg %0.19-0.24, P %0.30-0.35, HK oranın %9.50-10.95 arasında yer almıştır. Ayrıca, incelenen özellikler arası ilişkilerde KMV ile HS, NDF ve ADF arasında önemli ve olumlu; HPO, P ve K arasında önemli ve olumsuz ilişkiler saptanmıştır. Sonuç olarak, 22 ve 2490 nolu genotiplerin kuru madde verimi, 1430 nolu genotipin ise kalite özellikleri bakımından standart çeşit ve diğer genotiplerden daha yüksek ortalama değerlere sahip oldukları saptanmıştır.

Relation of the Quality and Nutrient Content in Some Hopeful Common Vetch (Vicia sativa L.) Genotypes
Abstract: The research was conducted to determine some quality properties of some promisimg common vetch (Vicia sativa L.) genotypes with good adaptability to the Çukurova conditions. The experiment was arranged in a randomized complete block design with four replication in two locations of ADANA (Doğankent and Balcalı) during the 2009/10 winter growing season. In the experiment, some traits such as dry matter yield (DMY) and percentages of crude protein (CPR), neutral detergent fiber (NDF), acid detergent fiber (ADF), crude fiber (CF), ash, calcium (Ca), phosphorus (P), potassium (K) and magnesium (Mg) as well as correlation coefficients between these traits were examined. Dry matter yield, CPR, NDF, ADF, CF, ash, Ca, P, K, Mg ranged between 383-603 kg da-1, 15.9-19.6%, 35.3-44.4%, 28.4-34.1%, 22.3-27.6%, 9.50-10.95%, 0.86-1.04%, 0.30-0.35%, 3.54-4.05%, and 0.19-0.24%, respectively. Furthermore, DMY was positively correlated with CF, NDF and ADF, but negatively correlated with CPR, P, and K. Thus, it was determined that in term of dry matter yield genotypes with the number of 22 and 2490 and in terms of quality and nutrient content genotype 1430 had higher values than those of standard cultivars and the other genotypes.
