Sanal Gerçekliğin Rehabilitasyon Alanında Kullanımı

Öz

Sanal gerçeklik teknoloji ve kurguyla hayalin ve gerçeğin birleştirilmesidir. Daha önce görmediğimiz veya ulaşamadığımız yerleri sanal olarak ziyaret edip gerçekmiş gibi deneyimlememize imkân tanır. Sağlık sektörü sanal gerçekliğin önemli dönüşümlere yol açtığı alanlardan biridir. Cerrahi tedavi, rehabilitasyon ve eğitim alanında kullanılan bu teknoloji öğrencilere, sağlık çalışanlarına ve hastalara kolaylık sağlamakta, uygulamaları giderek çeşitlenmekte ve olumlu geri dönüşler alınmaktadır. Sanal gerçeklik sistemleri, rehabilitasyon alanında engellilik nedeniyle mesafe ve ulaşım zorluğu yaşayan, randevu bulmakta güçlük çeken hastalara erişilebilir, esnek ve kapsamlı tedavi imkanları sunan bir yöntemdir. Hastaların fonksiyonel yeteneklerini geliştirip hedefe yönelik görevler vererek tekrar etme seçeneği sunan yeni ve etkili terapötik araçlarla egzersiz davranışını artırma potansiyeline sahiptir. Bu derlemenin amacı rehabilitasyonda kullanılan sanal gerçeklik uygulamaları hakkında bilgi vermektir.
