Objective: This study, which aims to comparatively examine the relationship between parenting styles of Roma and non-Roma mothers and children's aggressive behavior. Method: It was designed using singular and relational screening models. The study group of the research consists of a total of 90 children and their mothers, including 45 Roma children of 48-72 months of age, and 45 non-Roma children. In the study, Aggression Scale for Children- Parents Form, Parental Attitude Scale, Parental Acceptance-Rejection Scale were used as data collection tools. Results: As a result of the research, it was found that Roma children exhibit more aggressive behaviors compared to non-Roma children; It was found that non-Roma families showed more warmth and democratic attitude to their children compared to Roma families, while Roma families showed less warmth and more authoritarian attitude. In addition, verbal and physical aggression behaviors of non-Roma children without provocation are affected by the authoritarian attitude of the mother and parental acceptance / rejection; the provoked physical aggression is only affected by the parental acceptance / rejection level; in addition, it was determined that Roma children's verbal aggression behavior was only affected by authoritarian attitude. Conclusion: Analyses showed that as the authoritarian attitudes and rejection levels of the mothers increased, the verbal, unprovoked and provoked physical aggression levels also increased.
