Öz
Atopik dermatit çocukluk çağının en sık görülen kronik deri hastalığıdır. Tanı klinik
öykü ve fizik muayene bulguları temel alınarak günümüzde geçerliliği kanıtlanmış
klinik tanı kriterlerine göre konulur. Özellikle erken başlangıçlı, tedaviye yeterli
yanıt alınamayan ve deri tutulumunun yaygın olduğu ağır olgularda olası besin alerjisi
birlikteliğinin belirlenmesi ve tedavi yönetiminin tamamen farklı olduğu immün
yetmezlik ve genetik-metabolik hastalıklardan ayrıcı tanısının yapılması son derece
önemlidir. Tedavinin temelini tetikleyicilerden kaçınma, deri bakımı ve anti-inflamatuar
tedavi oluşturur. Tedavi başarısında düzenli hasta/aile eğitimi ve iyi hekimhasta
ilişkisi esastır. Ağır kliniğe sahip sistemik tedavi gerektiren olgularda ciddi yan
etkilere sahip olmayan dupulimab gibi yeni immünomodülatör tedavi yaklaşımları
klinik kontrolün sağlanmasında, yaşam kalitelerinin artmasında ve komorbidite gelişiminin
önlemesinde umut ışığı olmuştur.
