Dinî Özgürlük ve Ekonomik Refah: Geçmişten Alınacak Dört Ders

Öz

Birçok siyâset bilimci ve ekonomist, genişletilmiş sivil özgürlüklerin ve genel siyâsî hürriyetin ekonomik büyümeye yardımcı olup olmadığını tartışmaktadır (Smith [1776] 1976; North, Wallis ve Weingast 2009). Özel mülkiyete sâhip olma, sözleşme yapma, toplanma ve siyâsî karar alma süreçlerine katılma konularına odaklanan bilim insanları ile yapılan tartışmalarda, bu sivil özgürlüklerin bir alt kümesi olarak dinî özgürlükler, çoğu kez ihmâl edilmektedir.
