İŞ GÜVENCESİZLİĞİ ALGISI VE ÖZ YETERLİLİK DÜZEYİNİN POLİTİK DAVRANIŞ ÜZERİNDEKİ ETKİSİ

Abstract

Çalışma yaşantısı tarihi süreç içerisinde birtakım aşamalardan geçerek farklı boyutlar kazanmıştır. Değişim koşulları çerçevesinde birçok işleyiş gelişme ve ilerleme biçiminde ifade edilirken iş gücünün istihdam güvencesi tersi bir etkiyle olumsuz bir yönelim yaşamıştır. Bu bağlamda tehdit ve işsizlik kaygısı iş ilişkilerinin yeni sorunlarından biridir. İş güvencesizliği kavramı ile işinin devamlılığıyla ilgili kaygı ve işin kaybedilmesinden kaynaklanan korkuyla birlikte çalışanların tepkileri artmıştır. Çalışma iş güvencesizliğinin yaratacağı etkileri, çalışanların güç kazanmak ve kendi menfaatlerini koruyacak şekilde politik davranış çerçevesiyle etkileyebileceğini göstermektedir. Benzer biçimde olumsuz iş tutumları yerine bu süreçte iyi olma, iyi olduğuna inanma ve başarısıyla iş sürecini etkileme biçiminde öz yeterlilik kavramının çalışanların içsel kontrol aracılığıyla süreçte bireysel ve örgütsel başarıda etkili bir faktör olduğu düşünülmektedir. Çalışmanın örneklemi 403 teknopark çalışanıdır. Çalışmada veriler istatiksel analiz yöntemleri ile test edilmiştir. İlk olarak iş güvencesizliği algısının sergilenen politik davranışlar üzerinde anlamlı ve pozitif yönde bir etki yarattığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. İkinci olarak da öz yeterliliğin politik davranışlar üzerinde etkisi bulunmuştur. Üçüncü olarak da politik davranışların her birinin üzerinde iş güvencesizliği alt boyutlarının ve öz yeterliliğin etkileri ortaya konmuştur.

THE EFFECT OF PERCEPTION OF JOB INSECURITY AND SELF EFFICACY ON POLITICAL BEHAVIOR

Abstract

Working life has gained different dimensions by going through some stages in the historical process. While many processes are expressed in the form of development and progress within the framework of change conditions, employment security of the workforce has experienced a negative orientation. In this context, threats and unemployment concerns are among the problems of business relations. With the concept of job insecurity and the fear arising from the concern about the continuity of the job, the reactions of the employees have increased. The study shows that due to the effects of job insecurity, employees exhibit political behavior in a way to gain power and protect their own interests. Similarly, it is thought that the concept of self-efficacy in the way of being good in this process, believing that it is good and influencing the business process with its success, instead of negative work attitudes, is an effective factor in the individual and organizational success of the employees in the process through internal control. The sample is 403 technopark employees. In the study, the data were tested with statistical analysis methods. First of all, it was concluded that the perception of job insecurity has a significant and positive effect on the political behaviors exhibited. Secondly, the effect of self-efficacy on political behavior was found. Thirdly, the effects of job insecurity sub-dimensions and self-efficacy on each of the political behaviors were revealed.
