This paper contains the analysis and review of the current state of microbial diversity study of Kyrgyzstan mountain ecosystems. Microbial diversity of soil ecosystems in Kyrgyzstan is virtually unknown, and it is a great opportunity to identify new species of microorganisms and their new secondary metabolites.
