The aim of the study is to examine the perfectionism and competitive attitudes in high school student sample in related to some certain socio-demographical variables such as gender, school type and number of sibling. The sample of the study consists of 463 high school students (260 female, 203 male). “Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale”, “Competitive Attitudes Scale” and “Demographic Information Form” were used to collect data. According to the findings of the research, there is no significant difference between male and female students with respect to sub-dimensions of perfectionism, but there are significant gender differences in terms of competitive attitudes. No difference has been observed in perfectionism and also competitive attitudes scores revealed that there are significant differences in terms of school type.
