Bibliography of the Scientific Researches Conducted in German Departments of Turkish Universities

In the study, scientific researches that have been conducted in German departments of Turkish universities since their foundation up to the present day are examined. The
information about scientific publications in the departments of German Language Teaching, German Language and Literature and German Translation at Turkish universities in the
ten year period of 1998-2008 was collected via e-mail. The bibliographic information for the period before 1998 was added to the data of the current study. Accordingly, in the
subject areas of Literature, Pedagogy, Foreign Language Teaching, Linguistics, Culture and Translation, 3755 different scientifi c works which consist of original books or book
translations, articles or conference proceedings, theses and projects were determined. The bibliographical study, which was realized within the scope of a Marmara University project, is accessible in the webpage of the concerned department (http://aef.marmara. edu.tr/bolum/120701/sayfa/3646/ projeler). Thus, a basis for future academic studies to be conducted in the area has been prepared.
