One of the most important reasons for the high tourist movements towards the country in the last years of the Ottoman Empire is the desire to benefit from Ottoman herbal treatment methods. The main aim of this study is to find an answer on the basis of game theory analysis to the question of how research and development of Ottoman herbal treatment methods can benefit the development of tourism sector of Turkey. ln line with the equilibrium path "the Patent Model" is constructed. The findings have promising character. Especially considering the interest of European tourists in the Ottoman Civilization, it is possible to provide a high level of foreign currency inflow to the country by researching and developing Ottoman treatment methods. ln this structure and process policy authorities and academics have important duties.
