TO DETERMINE THE CHOICE OF THE COURSE TOWARDS THE PATH GOING THROUGH CAREER BY MEANS OF ANALYTIC HIEARARCHY PROCESS (AHP)

The individuals face to face some sets of problems in their daily lives and they have to undergo the process of decision. The results of the ultimate decisions put forth to what extent to be achieved in this process. Upon encountering the decision making situations, they can follow to different procedures of solution. One of these is fast developing intuitional analysis which is not objective. The other one is analytic methods based on reason. It is significant to note that the students in the pursuit of the completion of the undergraduate education to choose occupation that determine their career goals. The certificate programs as well as course education organized lay a great emphasis on the step to the jobs. The students’ choice of career based on intuitions can pose a threat for them. In this context, the fact that the career choice of the students is to be depended on analytic methods can be assessed as the biggest factor to determine the best on for them. In the selection of the certificate and course education, the solution can be achieved through the vagueness of decisiveness and through forming convenient options to the complicated and controversial objectives via Analytic Hierarchy Process. In this study the ideas of the academicians in Süleyman Demirel University were optained.The expert aims at ascertaining the criteria and their level of importance that play a great role in the selection of the courses. According to the criteria ascertained, it is also aimed at delivering the most effective and ideal educational procedures by means of A.H.P
