INVESTIGATION OF NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS IN TERMS OF ORGANIZATIONAL VALUE AND LOYALTY
Abstract
In this study, it was investigated that what kind of interactions exist between
the Foundation and university students who stayed at its dormitories and also
received its scholarship.
It is the primary aim of the study to find out first whether the support given
by the foundation forms a loyalty between graduates and the foundation, and if
so, the analysis of the continuance of this loyalty and which supports have more
effect on this loyalty. The survey method that provides a description to the current
situation was used in this study.
The population of this study is composed of 1750 graduates who either stayed
at the dormitories owned by the foundation or received different scholarships
from the foundation. The sample survey consists of 179 graduates whose
contact information was able to be reached and participated in this study voluntarily
by filling the form that was sent to them.
Various conditions such as the participants stayed at the dormitories owned
by the foundation, their distributions, the scholarships received by participants
from the foundation, types of scholarships and their levels of satisfaction were
studied and significant results were found out. It was understood that the graduates
adopt the organizational values of the foundation and they want to support
the foundation. As a result, it was reached that there is a formation of a permanent
loyalty between the participants and those who supported them and even
though many years have passed, this loyalty still continues
