Abstract

This study determines the ideas of school principal and National Education inspectors about the required equipment and human sources from the perspective of social studies education. The aim of this study is to determine the problems about the human sources and to put forward some suggestions. In that research, the results of the open-ended questions asked the directors of 244 schools and 30 National Education inspectors in Samsun and Amasya have been evaluated. The results obtained from this study have been evaluated in line with the open ended question of “What should be the equipment and human sources in primary schools in terms of the instruction of social studies?”. Under the light of these results, it has been seen the shortage of equipment and human sources and some suggestions have been put forward.
