DÜRTÜSEL SATIN ALMA, TUTUMLULUK VE SORUMLULUK BAĞLAMINDA GIDA İSRAFININ İNCELENMESİ

Öz

Gıda arzı ile gıda talebi arasında ciddi bir dengesizlik olan günümüz dünyasında insan nüfusunun çok az bir kısmı sağlıklı beslenme koşullarına ve gıdaya sorunsuz erişim şansına sahiptir. İnsanlığın büyük bir kısmı ise siyasi, coğrafi ve ekonomik nedenlerle yetersiz gıda tehlikesi ile yaşamak zorunda kalmaktadır. Her ne kadar gıda arzının arttırılması bir çare olarak düşünülebilse de yukarıda bahsi geçen gerekçeler nedeniyle yine gıdaya ulaşımda belli bir azınlık avantajlı olacağı için çok yeterli bir önlem değildir. Ayrıca israf edilen gıda miktarının azaltılması ve gıdanın tüm insanlara eşit şekilde ulaştırılması en geçerli çözüm olarak değerlendirilmelidir.
Araştırmada dört ürün kategorisinde bireylerin sorumluluk, tutumluluk, dürtüsel satın alma ve gıda israfı arasındaki ilişki incelenmektedir. Kolayda örnekleme yöntemi ile belirlenen 259 katılımcı çevrim içi anket yoluyla araştırmaya katılmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda et, süt ve unlu mamul kategorilerinde gıda israfı ile dürtüsel satın almanın bilişsel boyutu ve tutumluluk arasında ilişki olduğu görülmektedir. Sorumluluk kişilik özelliğinin israf ile ilişkisi yalnızca süt ürünlerinde ortaya çıkmaktadır. Buna karşılık, meyve ve sebze ürün kategorisindeki israf ile ilişkili bir yapı bulunmamaktadır.
