In this study, it was aimed to examine the philosophers who were involved in the formation of the epistemology of William of Ockham. For this purpose, I will try to reveal how this relationship evolves towards the end of the Middle Ages by explaining the relationship between the subject and the object dating back to the first period. I emphasize that Ockhamli, who constantly emphasizes that only beings are necessary for knowledge and language, should focus on the real existence of objects and draw a sharp line between philosophy and theology with the reduction of knowledge to the experiment, and its turning point. Gilson expresses Ockham's view of information as follows: “Indeed, information is either abstract or intuitive; If the information is of an abstract type, it is only about intellectual relationships, and even if a proposal that provides assurance of real things is asked even when it creates compulsory relationships about ideas, then we need direct evidence, not just abstract and intuitive evidence. This is what Ockhamli repeated without getting tired.
