COVID-19, which is an important public health problem all over in the world, causes morbidity and mortality in pregnant women. In this case report, we aimed to present the follow-up and treatment of a 30-year-old woman with gravida 2 parity 1 at 38 weeks of gestation with a diagnosis of COVID-19 in the intensive care unit, with literature. Changes in cardiorespiratory and immune systems during pregnancy include increased susceptibility to viral infections and hypoxia. Therefore, close monitoring of vital parameters, especially oxygen saturation, is important in pregnant women. Since intensive care management of pregnant women diagnosed with COVID-19 differs from standard cases, the treatment approach, timing and form of delivery should be individualized according to the severity of the disease, the severity of hypoxemia, gestational age, pre-existing maternal comorbidity, obstetric history and fetal conditions. We think that planning the intensive care management of these pregnant women with a multidisciplinary approach may be effective in preventing the negative pregnancy outcomes associated with COVID-19.
