THE USE of DIGITAL STORYTELLING as a THERAPEUTIC COMMUNICATION METHOD in PEDIATRIC

Öz

The storytelling method is suitable for use in many areas of health and almost all age groups. Storytelling improves the problem solving skills and imagination of individuals, supports their creativity, positively affects their social development and communication skills, and is used as a therapeutic communication method. The use of effective communication methods in relations with children and care provided is very important for nurses. This study aims to explain the studies in the field of nursing, the purpose of use and the effectiveness of digital storytelling, which is a method based on the therapeutic communication method, which is based on the method of storytelling and supported by adding digital elements to the method.

TERAPÖTİK İLETİŞİM YÖNTEMİ OLARAK DİJİTAL HİKÂYE ANLATIMININ PEDİATRİ HEMŞİRELİĞİNDE KULLANIMI: LİTERATÜR İNCELEMESİ

Öz

Hikâye anlatım yöntemi, sağlığın birçok alanında ve neredeyse tüm yaş gruplarında kullanıma uygun bir yöntemdir. Hikâye anlatımı, bireylerin problem çözme becerilerini ve hayal güçlerini geliştirmekte, yaratıcılıklarını desteklemekte, sosyal gelişimlerini, iletişim kurma yeteneklerini olumlu yönde etkilemekte ve terapötik iletişim yöntemi olarak kullanılmaktadır. Çocuklarla kurulan ilişkilerde ve sağlanan bakımda etkili iletişim yöntemlerinin kullanımı hemşireler açısından oldukça önemlidir. Bu çalışma, terapötik iletişim yöntemlerinden hikâye anlatımı yönteminin esas alındığı ve yönteme dijital elementlerin eklenmesiyle zenginleştirilen bir yöntem olan dijital hikâye anlatımıyla ilgili hemşirelik alanında yapılan çalışmaları, kullanım amaçlarını ve etkinliğini açıklamayı amaçlamaktadır.
