KÜRESEL FUTBOLDA YAPISAL YÖNETİŞİM VE PSİKOLOJİK DİNAMİKLER: TÜRK FUTBOLUNDA KURUMSAL YAPININ BAŞARISIZLIKTAKİ PAYI VE REFORM GEREKLİLİĞİ

Öz

Bu çalışma, küresel futbolun yapısal yönetişim süreçlerini ve bu süreçlerin psikolojik etkilerini inceleyerek, Türkiye futbolundaki kurumsal yapıların başarısızlıktaki rolünü araştırmayı amaçlamaktadır. Araştırma, karma yöntem yaklaşımı ile tasarlanmıştır. Bu yaklaşımda, sayısal veriler (finansal tablolar, altyapı istatistikleri, kulüp raporları) ile nitel veriler (literatür taraması, akademik makaleler, tezler, resmi raporlar) birleştirilerek kapsamlı bir analiz planlanmıştır. Türkiye’ye benzer futbolun kurumsal örgütlenmesi sahip ülkelerden Almanya, Brezilya, ABD ve Japonya örnekleri karşılaştırmalı olarak incelenmiş ve başarılı yönetim modelleri, finansal sürdürülebilirlik ile altyapı yatırımlarının kurumsal başarının temel belirleyicileri olabileceği varsayılarak incelenmiştir.
Araştırma bulguları, Türkiye’deki futbol kulüplerinin finansal disiplinsizlik, stratejik planlama eksikliği, altyapı ve genç yetenek gelişiminde yetersizlik, hukuki ve özerklik sorunları ile siyasal müdahaleler gibi kurumsal sorunlarla karşı karşıya olduğunu ortaya koymaktadır. Bu yapısal eksiklikler, oyuncular, yöneticiler ve taraftarlar üzerinde güven kaybı, öfke, aidiyet eksikliği ve toplumsal kutuplaşma gibi psikolojik etkiler yaratmaktadır. Bulgular, Türkiye futbolunun kurumsal sorunlarının literatürde belirtilen başarısızlık nedenleriyle büyük ölçüde paralellik taşıdığını göstermekte ve sistematik reform gerekliliğini desteklemektedir.

Öz

This study aims to examine the structural governance processes in global football and their psychological impacts, with a particular focus on the role of institutional structures in the failures of Türkiye football. The research was designed using a mixed-methods approach, integrating quantitative data (financial statements, infrastructure statistics, club reports) with qualitative data (literature review, academic articles, theses, and official reports) to conduct a comprehensive analysis. Examples of countries with similar institutional organization of football to Türkiye, namely Germany, Brazil, USA and Japan, were comparatively examined and successful management models were examined assuming that financial sustainability and infrastructure investments could be the main determinants of institutional success.
The findings indicate that football clubs in Türkiye face institutional challenges such as financial indiscipline, lack of strategic planning, deficiencies in infrastructure and youth development, legal and autonomy issues, and political interventions. These structural shortcomings produce psychological effects on players, managers, and supporters, including loss of trust, anger, lack of belonging, and social polarization. The results demonstrate that the institutional problems in Türkiye football largely parallel the failure factors identified in the literature and support the necessity for systematic reforms.
