Pilotların Fiziksel Aktivite Düzeyleri Dikkat Seviyesi ve Zihinsel Dayanıklılık Arasındaki İlişkinin İncelenmesi

Öz

Bu çalışmanın amacı, pilotların fiziksel aktivite düzeyi, dikkat kapasitesi ve zihinsel dayanıklılık özelliklerini incelemektir. Araştırmaya 24-41 yaş aralığında, gönüllü toplam 37 pilot katılmıştır. Katılımcılara “Uluslararası Fiziksel Aktivite Anketi” (FAD), “Bourdon Dikkat Testi” (BD) ve “Zihinsel Dayanıklılık Anketi” uygulanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde, değişkenler arasındaki ilişkileri belirlemek amacıyla Pearson korelasyon analizi kullanılmıştır. Çalışma bulguları incelendiğinde, FAD toplam düzeyi ile BD toplam arasında pozitif yönde güçlü ve anlamlı bir ilişki görülmektedir. FAD toplam düzeyi ile zihinsel dayanıklılık arasında pozitif yönde anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmaktadır. Özellikle FAD yüksek ve FAD düşük düzeyleri zihinsel dayanıklılıkla anlamlı ilişki göstermektedir. BD toplam ile zihinsel dayanıklılık arasında anlamlı ve orta düzeyde pozitif bir ilişki bulunmaktadır. Bu ilişki, dikkat seviyesi toplamı arttıkça zihinsel dayanıklılığın da arttığını işaret etmektedir. Sonuç olarak, pilotların fiziksel aktivite düzeylerinin yüksek olması, hem dikkat sürekliliğini artırmakta hem de zihinsel dayanıklılıklarını güçlendirmektedir. Bu durum, bireysel performansı iyileştirmenin yanı sıra uçuş güvenliğine de olumlu katkı sağlamaktadır.

Examination of the Relationship Between Attention Level Mental Toughness and Physical Activity Levels of Pilots

Öz

The purpose of this study is to examine pilots' physical activity levels, attention capacity, and mental resilience characteristics. A total of 37 volunteer pilots aged 24-41 participated in the study. Participants completed the “International Physical Activity Questionnaire” (IPAQ), the “Bourdon Attention Test” (BD), and the “Mental Endurance Questionnaire.” Pearson correlation analysis was used to determine the relationships between variables in the data analysis. When the study findings were examined, a strong and significant positive relationship was observed between the FADtotal level and the BDtotal. There is a significant positive relationship between the FADtotal level and mental endurance. In particular, the FADhigh and FADlow levels show a significant relationship with mental endurance. There is a significant and moderate positive relationship between BDtotal and mental resilience. This relationship indicates that as the attention level total increases, mental resilience also increases. In conclusion, high levels of physical activity among pilots increase both sustained attention and mental resilience. This improves individual performance and contributes positively to flight safety.
