TEACHER VIEWS ON THE SIZE OF SECONDARY 9th GRADE PHYSICS COURSE CURRICULUM

Öz

The main purpose of this study is analyzing the opinions of the teachers concerning of the physics curriculum of 9th class of secondary education which was executed and put in practice since the 2007-2008 academic year. The research is a descriptive study to determine the situation. The research was carried out in a surveillance model. The sample group of the research is the teachers who were actively attended in 9th class physics lectures in the secondary schools of Altynda? district of Ankara in 2009-2010 academic year. In the research, "The Scale of Education Program of Physics Curriculum" has been used for the purpose of collection data. In the analysis of data, the median has been used in subscale scores and overall impression of the survey and grouping of teacher' education level, and mean ± deviation has been used in grouping of the other variables. The research teachers, while the teacher were declaring positive views concerning with the "achievements" and "content" dimensions of the education program of physics curriculum; they were expressing that they were having troubles relating with the "learning and teaching conditions" and "measurement and evaluation conditions" dimensions and indicating their partially positive opinions.

ORTAÖĞRETİM 9.SINIF FİZİK DERSİ ÖĞRETİM PROGRAMININ ÖĞELERİNE İLİŞKİN ÖĞRETMEN GÖRÜŞLERİ

Öz

Bu araştırmanın temel amacı, 2007–2008 eğitim-öğretim yılından itibaren uygulamaya konulan ortaöğretim 9. sınıf fizik dersi öğretim programının öğelerine ilişkin öğretmen görüşlerini incelemektir. Araştırma durum saptamaya yönelik betimsel bir araştırmadır. Araştırmanın gerçekleşmesinde tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubu 2009-2010 eğitim-öğretim yılında Ankara ili Altındağ ilçesinde bulunan ortaöğretim okullarında aktif olarak ortaöğretim 9. sınıfta fizik dersine giren öğretmenlerdir. Araştırmada verilerin toplanması amacıyla “Fizik Dersi Öğretim Programı Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde, alt boyutlar ve anket geneli puanların gösteriminde katılımcıların eğitim düzeyi gruplamasında ortanca diğer gruplama değişkenlerinde ise ortalama-standart sapma kullanılmıştır. Yapılan araştırmada öğretmenler, fizik dersi öğretim programının “kazanımlar” ve “içerik” öğelerine ilişkin olumlu görüş bildirirken; “öğrenme-öğretme durumları” ve “ölçme-değerlendirme durumları” öğelerine ilişkin bazı sorunlar yaşadıklarını ifade edip, kısmen olumlu görüş belirtmişlerdir.
