The purpose of this research is to define the expectations of elementary school principals from education supervisors during supervision period. Since the purpose of the research is appropriate to be realized qualitative research method has been used. The study group of the research is consisted of thirty principals chosen with maximum variety method. The data has been collected using semi-structured interview form and has been analyzed with content analysis method. After the analysis, the expectations of the principals were collected under eleven themes. According to obtained data, it has been found out that principals wanted the education supervisors to display supervising behaviors appropriate to the human relations. It has also been found that principals found the education supervisors insufficient on communication, guidance, persistence, to be democratic, contingency, expediency, self-development, effectuality, consistency, awarding and research fields.
