Today the main problem of art (handicraft) lesson is that it is considered as a lesson which only serves to painting and to relax or to spend some time. So, many people and thus student curators comprehend it this way. Whereas, training of visual arts should be a lesson, which is handled in a wider dimension. In this regard, different approaches from traditional opinion should be taken. In this study it was attempted to reveal the perspective to art and handicraft lesson and thus to reveal deficiencies of art and handicraft lesson. Answers of open end questionnaire, which consists of 6 questions and was applied to 100 student curators, were evaluated by grouping them according to their themes. In conclusion, deficient points of art and handicraft lesson were determined. Suggestions for art and handicraft lesson, aiming to create awareness of student curators were made.
