Öz
Toplumları kalkındıracak ve toplumu insani davranışlarla yaşanır hale getirecek olan en önemli faktör bireydir. Bireyin toplumun temelini oluşturma noktasından hareketle; birey üzerine düşen erdemli davranışları sergileyerek toplumu yaşanır, huzurlu hale getirmelidir. Aksi halde fertte başlayan bozulma topluma; toplumda başlayan bozulma toplumu ayakta tutan kurumlara etki edecek ve yaşam alanı yaşanılmaz bir hale gelecektir. Haldun Taner, eserlerine bu yozlaşmış unsurları yerleştirerek insanımıza aksayan yönleri gösterip bu yozlaşmışlığa dikkat çekmektedir.

The most important factor to develop the society and make it livablefor living with humane behaviours is the indiviual.As the individual creates the basis of the society,it should make the society peaceful and suitable enough to live,by behaving as virtously as he is responsible.Otherwise the breakdown that starts for the individual will affect the society ; the breakdown in the society will affect the instutions that sustain the society and as a result the life will become unable to live.Haldun Taner stressed on this degeneration showing this disrupted ways to our people by putting these degenerated elements to his work.
