Meslek okulu mezunlary ara eleman olarak adlandyrylmakla birlikte ana eleman olarak dü?ünülebilirler. Çünkü onlar i? ve üretim dünyasynda asyl yükü çeken ki?ilerdir. Bu nedenle teknik e?itimin önemi ve gereklili?i yadsynamaz bir gerçek haline gelmi?tir. Bu çaly?ma ile Karadeniz Teknik Üniversitesi, Be?ikdüzü Meslek Yüksekokulu, Bilgisayar Teknolojileri Bölümü uygulama dersi ö?retim elemanlarynyn bu derslerin verimlili?ine ili?kin görü?leri ortaya konulmaya çaly?ylmy?tyr. Bu ba?lamda üç ö?retim elemany ile görü?meler yapylmy?tyr. Bu çaly?mada ara?tyrma problem durumuna uygun olarak durum çaly?masy yöntemi kullanylmy? ve veriler nitel veri analizi yöntemine göre analiz edilmi?tir. Elde edilen bulgular bazy faktörlerin verimlili?i azaltty?yny göstermektedir. Bu bulgulara göre bazy temel olanaklar ve uygulama derslerinin süresinin azly?y bu verimlili?in azalmasyna neden olmaktadyr.

ANALYSIS OF APPLIED COURSES' EFFICIENCY IN VOCATIONAL AND TECHNICAL EDUCATION: A CASE STUDY

Öz

Vocational school graduates can be thought as "Primary Employee" which is called "Intermediate Employee" according to general viewpoint. Forwhy, they are the ones who carry the production and who do the work in business and industrial world. Therefore, the importance and necessity of educating technical employees decently has become an incontrovertible truth. With this conducted study, the viewpoints of applied courses lecturers in Karadeniz Technical University, Be?ikdüzü Vocational School, Commputer Technologies and Programming Department concerning efficiency of these courses are tried to be demonstrated. In this context, interviews were made with three lecturers. In the study, suitable to the problem of research Case Study method is used and data was assessed with qualitative data analyses method. It is emerged with respect to the findings gathered from the study that there are factors which decreases efficiency. In accordance with this, reasons such as basic facilities and insufficiency of application course durations decrease the efficiency.
