Liberal Yahudiliğin Öncüleri ve Temel Tartışma Konuları

Yahudilik eski tarihi dönemlere dayanan bir dindir. Yahudilik sosyal, siyasal, kültürel unsurlardan etkilendiği ve inananlarını bu etki doğrultusunda şekillendirdiği bir gerçekliğe sahiptir. Reform hareketleri de insanlıkla beraber gelişen ve değişen bir harekettir. Reformist yapılanmanın temelinde yatan sebepler, inananları değişime açık hale getirmiştir. Bu sebeplerden bazıları Yahudilerin yaşadıkları coğrafyada Almanlar tarafından kabul görme istekleridir. Aynı zamanda din, dil, ırk ayrımı olmadan yekpare bir toplum olma çabasıdır. Yahudilik dini de inananların buna önderlik etmesiyle beraber 19. Yüzyıl itibariyle reformist bir yapılanmaya gitmiştir. Bu çalışmada amaç, Yahudilikte Liberal İlahiyatçılık nedir, nasıl ortaya çıkarılmıştır, ortaya çıkışında kimler öncülük etmiştir ve Liberal Yahudiliğin tartışma alanları nelerdir sorularına cevap aramaktır. Çalışmada Liberal Yahudilik ile ilgili doküman incelemesiyle elde edilen verilerin işlenmesinde deskriptif bir metot kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre Liberal Yahudiliğin başlangıç noktasıyla geldiği nokta aynı değildir. Farklı amaçlarla ortaya çıktığı ve sonrasında süreç içerisinde değişimlerle yeni bir akım haline geldiği görülmüştür. Bu çalışmayla birlikte Yahudilik perspektifinden Liberal İlahiyatçılığın, Geleneksel Yahudiliğin dönemindeki etkisinin azalarak yeni bir ideolojinin ortaya çıkarıldığı sonucuna varılmıştır.

Judaism is a religion dating back to ancient historical periods. Judaism has been influenced by social, political and cultural elements and has shaped its believers in line with this influence. Reform movements are also a movement that develops and changes with humanity. The reasons underlying the Reformist structure have made believers open to change. Some of these reasons are the desire of Jews to be accepted by the Germans in the geography where they live. At the same time, it is an effort to become a monolithic society without discrimination of religion, language and race. The religion of Judaism has also undergone a reformist restructuring as of the 19th century, with believers leading the way. The aim of this study is to seek answers to the questions of what Liberal Theology in Judaism is, how it emerged, who pioneered its emergence and what are the discussion areas of Liberal Judaism. In the study, a descriptive method was used to process the data obtained through document analysis on Liberal Judaism. According to the results of the research, the starting point of Liberal Judaism and the point it has reached are not the same. It has been seen that it emerged for different purposes and then became a new movement with changes in the process. With this study, it has been concluded that Liberal Theology from the perspective of Judaism, the influence of Traditional Judaism in the period has decreased and a new ideology has emerged.
