Wave propagation in thin cylindrical composite tubes filled with a Newtonian fluid is studied in this work. The thin elastic tube is considered to be elastic and laminated composite with continuous fibers, and the fluid is assumed to be a nonviscous incompressible fluid for simplicity in the mathematical analysis. We think that this model (Media+ Adventitia) can be employed in the analysis of blood flow in the arteries. The field equations for the composites and fluid continuums are obtained assuming a constant internal pressure, thus the initial position is assumed to be in equilibrium. The governing differential equations of the composite elastic material are obtained in cylindrical polar coordinates utilizing the theory of small deformations superimposed on large initial static deformations.
