It is predicted that school principals who have emotional intelligence skills and entrepreneurial leadership qualities can be successful by recognizing, understanding, and managing emotions and strengthening social relations and create a positive climate in the school, and emotional intelligence may have a positive effect on entrepreneurial leadership. Accordingly, the study aimed to determine the correlation between the entrepreneurial leadership approaches of school principals and their emotional intelligence according to the teachers’ perceptions. “Correlational survey model” was used in the study. The sample of the study consisted of 379 teachers working in Gaziemir, Konak, Karabağlar, Buca, and Bornova districts of Izmir province in the academic year 2021-2022. “Scale of Entrepreneurial Leadership Approaches of School Principals” and “Scale of Emotional Intelligence of School Principals” developed by the researchers were used as data collection tools. “Pearson Correlation”, “Simple Linear Regression”, and “Multiple Linear Regression” analyses were applied to analyze the data. The findings showed that there was a “positive and significant correlation” between the entrepreneurial leadership approaches of the school principals and their emotional intelligence and a “positive and significant predictor” of the emotional intelligence of the school principals for their entrepreneurial leadership approaches. The “empathy” and “managing emotions” subscales of the scale were “no significant predictor” for entrepreneurial leadership approaches. According to these results, it can be asserted that the school principals with high entrepreneurial leadership approaches also had high emotional intelligence.
