Lex portus Asiae üzerinde Augustus Dönemi Düzenlemeleri

Öz

Asia Eyaleti Gümrük Yasası Augustus Dönemi’nde, İ.Ö. 17 yılı consul’leri Gaius Furnius ve Gaius Iunius Silanus tarafından büyük bir ihtimalle gözden geçirilmiş ve güncellenmiştir. Doğu’ya yapmış olduğu son seyahat sırasında Asia’daki yerleşimler ve bunların sıkıntıları hakkında doğrudan bilgi sahibi olma fırsatı bulan Augustus’un, adı geçen consul çiftine şahsen pek çok düzeltme, ekleme ve açıklama önerisinde bulunmuş olması da mümkündür: Mültezimlerin vergiden muaf tutulan (daimi veya geçici olarak) şahıs veya topluluklara müdahalelerine getirilen kısıtlamalar özellikle belirtilmektedir.

La revisione augustea della lex portus Asiae

Öz

The Customs Law of Asia was probably revised and updated in the Augustan age, by the consuls of 17 BC Gaius Furnius and Gaius Iunius Silanus. It’s also possible that Augustus himself, who had known the places and problems of Asia directly during his recent journey to East, sug­gest­ed a lot of modifications, additions and clarifications to the consuls: in particular were specified the limits to the interventions of the publicans against people or communities exempted (permanently or temporarily) from duties.
