Publication Ethics

The "Power Systems Engineering Research" journal, published under the Yildiz Technical University Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, is a peer-reviewed journal that follows a publication process based on the impartial generation, development, and sharing of knowledge through scientific methods. Power Systems Engineering Research adheres to an open access policy, and all published articles and reviews can be accessed via our journal's website.

In the process of scientific production, all components of the publication process, including the publisher, editors, authors, reviewers, and readers, are expected to adhere to ethical principles. In this regard, the publication ethics of "Power Systems Engineering Research" journal, as well as its open access policy, require all components of the publication process to adhere to ethical principles in accordance with the guidelines and policies of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) published in open access, such as "COPE's Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors" and "COPE Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors."

If situations such as data manipulation, distortion, or the use of fabricated data in articles are identified, the institution where the author works will be officially notified of this, and the article will be rejected. Our journal has the right to request output files related to analysis results from authors based on feedback from the editorial board and/or reviewers.

Evaluation Policy

Power Systems Engineering Research publishes articles in English. Texts should be written in an academic language while adhering to grammar rules. The evaluations conducted by independent scientists serve as advisory recommendations to the editorial board of Power Systems Engineering Research for the publication of the most suitable articles. Articles are subject to a completely confidential evaluation process with a double-blind peer review policy.

The authorship and readership of Power Systems Engineering Research are international, and the reviewers evaluating the articles are carefully selected from the global academic community. The names of reviewers are kept confidential and known only to the editors. Regardless of the author's race, gender, religious beliefs, ethnic background, nationality, political orientation, age, or fame, all submissions for publication are reviewed impartially. After the review and correction processes for articles accepted for publication in the journal are completed, the Editorial Board decides which issue the articles will appear in.
