ФОРМИРОВАНИЕ ОБЩЕГО ЭНЕРГЕТИЧЕСКОГО РЫНКА В РАМКАХ ЕВРАЗЭС И ШОС

Öz

The article Providing a Common Energy Market within the Framework of EvrAzES (Eurasian Economic Community) and the SCO (Shanghai Cooperation Organization) is devoted to the current situation and the future development of the main organizations in the post – Soviet territory in the context of the formation of a united energy market. These organizations face many obstacles, which include dissent in defining tariffs and custom duties for hydrocarbon transit for Russian and Kazakh companies, confrontation between the two main actors – China and Russia, and tension in the relations among the Central Asian countries. At the same time, EvrAzES and the SCO possess great energy potential: rich resources of oil, gas and coal, and diversified transportation corridors. In addition, Iran, India, Pakistan, and Turkmenistan intend to join these integration structures which will increase their political and economic power. Another aim of these organizations is to balance the influence of the USA and the EU in the Eurasian energy market.
