Within the borders of Ezine district in Çanakkale, upper Oligocene - Lower Miocene of the elderly Kestanbol Pluton has the quartz monzonite and granitic character as mineralogical structure. Light metamorphic clastics, recrystallized limestones, Karadağ Metamorphic Community consisting of metaclastics in upper levels and Denizgören ophiolite mostly serpentinized this tectonic unit are the rest units of the study area forming the base of the Ezine Zone. In the region, the quarries that have been operated in the historical period are Troas Tilkiini Tepe quarry and Yeditaşlar Koçali quarry. These quarries are probably left on the way to move out of the columns from the quarries to the port. The Taşlı Tepe, Çamtaşlar, Kayacık and Troas Tilkiini Tepe II are the actively operated quarries at the present time. Other than these, nearby Yaylacık Village, İğde Kaya and Ebe Çeşme, there are ancient columns. In this study, present-day status of the quarries in Kestanbol Pluton, ancient columns with production methods have been used, export destinations and the usage areas are investigated.
