This study discusses the security of the Horn of Africa in 2015 US military strategy. The US as the most powerful military force and the largest business trader in the world gives the security of the Horn of Africa special attention due to its special geo-strategic location. The US believes that any contact between Horn of Africa and the Arabian Peninsula under Saudi and Iranian rivalry is considered a threat to the world order. Moreover the rise of the Chinese and Indian roles in Africa constitutes a security burden on the US.The researcher believes that military threat in the region is a threat in terms of tools as the chances of hybrid conflicts escalate in the region where traditional strategies strategies and insurgent groups’ guerrilla strategies are mixed -a key element in the conflicts of those areas
