This study highlights the role of civil society organizations in the development of Turkish-African relations and it aims to assess the efforts and programs implemented by the Turkish non-governmental institutions in Africa. At the beginning there is analyzed the legacy of civil work in Turkey followed by an assessment of the international civil society organizations in Africa. The main result of this study's is that all what is currently offered in Africa is still not enough compared to the requirements of the crises in some countries. It also emphasized that the Turkish aids differ from the other countries in terms of goals. This study also confirms the importance of the role of civil society organizations in strengthening Türkish diplomatic relations with Africa
