After the collapse of the SU, the U.S. emerged as the only power; however, this hegemony was questioned after the emergence of other powers, whether in the form of individual countries or regional organizations and unions. This matter pushed many researchers to argue that the international system is moving towards multi-polarity embodied in the rise of certain powers that strive to control strategic areas in the world. Africa, by virtue of what it enjoys from economic and strategic benefits makes it the main focus of the rising powers, and in particular Iran after signing the nuclear deal, and aiming towards achieving its objectives and ambitions to play a significant role regionally and internationally
