The political, ideological and media role in France has been instrumental in spreading Islamophobic sentiments which alert people about the imminent threat of Islam spreading in France and Europe. These myths result to extremism against Muslims in France and Europe. This paper focuses on five main myths related to Islamophobia in France. These are: Renaud Camus’ myth i.e ‘The myth of the great replacement,’ Guillaume Faye’s myth: ‘The myth of the re-colonization of Europe,’ Eric Zemour’s myth: ‘Zero difference between Islamists and Muslims,’ ‘The myth of the superiority of Europe’s far right,’ and the French media myth: ‘The Islamophobia magnification,’ Definition of Islamophobia, choosing France as a case study and analysis on the observations will also be discussed
