Expressions of Islamophobia take numerous forms. These may be articulated in direct language with explicit features and traditional keys, or through indirect language based on symbols and power of suggestion. The visual design of Islamophobic slogans is based on exaggerated stereotyping, projecting Muslims within a specific mold, or depicting Islam using specific, simplified, and abhorrent symbols. The “Islamophobia industry” has developed specific visual symbols for its advertising of materials mostly in platforms like media which are stereotypic as portrayed in political campaigns. This paper aims to describe the expression of Islamophobic language in media outlets in Europe
