This paper examines the security policies in Iraq after ISIS, and determines its components. It also analyzes the weaknesses in the various stages of the major events that have brought the country into chaos and put it on the brink, especially after the years 2003, 2006 and 2014. This leads us to a research problem that the high inflation in militarization and security has not been able to achieve the desired security since 2003, and therefore must answer a series of key questions, such as: Has Iraq been able to benefit from counter-terrorism experiences in drawing up a comprehensive security strategy for the post-ISIS period? This study calls for a comprehensive national security strategy that encompasses various areas to address past failures, rather than focusing only on hard power
