تبحث هذه الدراسة في العقوبات التي فرضتها الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية والاتحاد الأوروبي وحلفاؤهما على روسيا، بعد الحرب التي شنّتها روسيا على أوكرانيا، وتأثيرات هذه العقوبات في أمن الطاقة. تتناول الدراسة في البداية الدول الرئيسة التي تستورد صادرات الطاقة الروسية، وتحلّل آثار العقوبات المفروضة على قطاعات النفط والغاز الطبيعي والفحم الروسية في أسواق الطاقة العالمية. ثمّ تناقش انعكاسات هذه التأثيرات على بعض البلدان المختارة، وكيفية سدّ الفجوة الناشئة عن انحسار موارد الطاقة القادمة من روسيا، وبدائل الاتحاد الأوروبي في واردات الغاز الطبيعي.

Sanctions on Russia and Its Effects on Energy Security

Öz

This study deals with the sanctions imposed by the U.S., the EU and their allies on Russia as a response to Russia's war on Ukraine, and also deals with the effects of these sanctions on energy security. Additionally, the study initially deals with the main importing countries of Russian energy and analyzes the effects of sanctions imposed on the Russian oil, natural gas, and coal sectors in global energy markets. Then it discusses the repercussions of these effects on some countries, and the alternatives available to the European Union.
