Pro-Palestinian Protests at US Universities

Öz

The current study examines the demonstrations in support of Palestine on American universities, and sheds light on the demands of the demonstrators and the reactions of university administrations and the Zionist lobby. It also indicates the potential effects of protests on American universities on the US presidential elections, and believes that protests on universities may have a significant impact on American politics and the 2024 presidential elections. Prior to the presidential elections, President Biden's foreign policy approach, which unconditionally supports Israel since October 7, has provoked reactions from liberal Democrats, especially Muslim voters.

مظاهرات دعم فلسطين في الجامعات الأمريكية

تتناول هذه الدراسة مظاهرات دعم فلسطين في الجامعات الأمريكية، وتسلّط الضوء على مطالب المتظاهرين، وردود فعل إدارات الجامعات، واللوبي الصهيوني، كما تشير إلى الآثار المحتملة للاحتجاجات في الجامعات الأمريكية في الانتخابات الرئاسية الأمريكية، وترى أنه قد يكون للاحتجاجات في الجامعات تأثير كبير في السياسة الأمريكية والانتخابات الرئاسية عام 2024، فقبل الانتخابات الرئاسية أدى نهج السياسة الخارجية للرئيس بايدن الذي يدعم "إسرائيل" بدون قيد أو شرط منذ 7 أكتوبر- إلى إثارة ردود فعل الديمقراطيين الليبراليين، وبخاصة الناخبون المسلمون.
