This descriptive study aimed to examine the green organizational behaviors of healthcare workers at a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum certified private hospital located on the European side of Istanbul. The study targeted the entire population without sampling, and data were collected using a two-part survey comprising a Demographic Information Form and the Green Organizational Behavior Scale (GOBS). Data collection was conducted face-to-face between December 2022 and March 2023 using paper-based questionnaires. The Kolmogorov-Smirnov test revealed that the data did not follow a normal distribution; thus, Mann-Whitney U, Kruskal-Wallis H, and Spearman’s rho correlation tests were used for analysis. The findings indicated statistically significant differences in GOBS scores based on gender, green organizational training status, institutional tenure, education level, and professional groups (p<0.05). In contrast, age and years of professional experience were not associated with significant differences in GOBS scores. The overall reliability coefficient of the scale was found to be high (α=0.886). The results suggest that organizational green behavior attitudes are influenced by factors such as education, profession, and length of experience.
