The establisment of art academies after the end of the 15th century, the disappearence of family workshop and apprenticeship system in art training can be considered as the beginning of significant changes in terms of paintress. In the previous system to choose art as a profession was imposssible because of the moral reason. The art historical documents show that, a significant change was not observed for the women in the age of art academies. This study is a descriptive study that examining the art training conditions in the terms of women who want to choose art as a profession in the age of art academies

15. yüzyılın sonundan itibaren sanat akademilerinin kurulmaya başlaması, sanat öğretiminde aile atölyelerinin ve çıraklık sisteminin ortadan kalkması gibi sanat alanındaki önemli gelişmelerin gerçekleşmesi kadın ressamlar bakımından önemli değişimlerin başlangıcı gibi düşünülebilir. Çünkü sanata eğilimli sistemlerde ahlaki nedenlerle olanaklı olamamıştı. Sanat tarihine ilişkin veriler dikkate alındığında akademiler çağında da kadınlar için önemli bir değişim gerçekleşmediği görülmektedir. Bu çalışma, sanatı meslek olarak seçmek isteyen kadınların akademiler çağında sanatı öğrenme koşullarını inceleyen betimsel bir çalışmadır
