THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE COMMITTEE OF UNION AND PROGRESS AND ARMENIAN ORGANIZATIONS DURING THE SECOND CONSTITUTIONAL ERA (The Way From Artifical Alliance To Natural Conflict)

Abstract

The Committee of Union and Progress entered into an alliance with the Ottoman minorities in the process of transitioning to a constitutional government. II. The atmosphere brought by the Constitutional Monarchy; While the Unionists saw it as a recipe that saved the homeland, the Armenians perceived it as the way of autonomy and even independence. It is an important question what are the mutual expectations of these two structures, whose aims are different from each other, and what they achieve with the alliance process. Although there are many studies on both structures, it is of particular importance to consider their relations with each other together with the internal and external dynamics of the period. The Committee of Union and Progress put forward the concept of the "Ottoman Nation" in order to prevent the disintegration of the state. The re-declaration of the Constitutional Monarchy and II. The CUP and the Dashnaksutyun Society, which saw the end of Abdulhamid's rule as a solution, formed an alliance. II. This alliance, which was formed with many structural and political changes after the Constitutional Monarchy; It continued until 1913 by going through a process of ups and downs. In our study, we examine the relations between the Taşnaksutyun Party, which is the organized state of the Armenians, and the Union and Progress, which sees itself as the representative of the Ottoman elements, together with the domestic and foreign politics of the period. It is aimed to reveal on the level of constitutional monarchy.
