Genç Erkek Voleybolcularda Direnç Bandı Antrenmanlarının Atletik Performansa Etkisi

Öz

Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı, genç erkek voleybolcularda 6 hafta boyunca haftada 3 gün uygulanan direnç bandı egzersizlerinin kuvvet, sürat ve dikey sıçrama performansı üzerindeki etkisini incelemektir.
Gereç ve Yöntem: Araştırmaya Genç Erkek Voleybol Ligi Takımlarında oynayan toplam 24 voleybolcu katılmıştır. Voleybol antrenmanlarının yanı sıra direnç bandı antrenmanları uygulayan yaşları 18,92±1,08 yıl olan 12 ve sadece voleybol antrenmanlarına devam eden yaşları 18,08±0,90 yıl olan 12 voleybolcu sırasıyla deney ve kontrol grubu olarak randomize ayrılmıştır. Tüm voleybolculara 6 hafta süresince haftada 5 gün voleybol antrenmanı yaptırılmıştır. Direnç antrenmanı yapan voleybolcular bu antrenmanlara ek haftanın 3 günü 30 dk süren direnç antrenmanlarını uygulamışlardır. Kontrol grubundaki sporculara haftalık voleybol antrenmanlarına ek olarak herhangi bir antrenman programı uygulanmamıştır. Her iki gruba da çalışma öncesinde ve sonrasında bench press ve yarım squat 4-6 TM kuvvet testi, dikey sıçrama ve 10 m 20 m sürat testleri yapılmıştır.
Bulgular: 6 haftalık direnç bandı kuvvet antrenmanlarından sonra, deney grubundanki voleybolcular grup içi ve gruplar arasındaki dikey sıçrama performansında kontrol grubuna göre istatistiksel olarak daha fazla artış göstermiştir (p<0,01). Bench Press ve Squat kuvvet test değerlerindeki değişimin deney gurubunda kontrol grubuna göre farklılık oluşturduğu (p<0,01) ve kuvvet değerlerinde artış olduğu görülmüştür. 10 m sürat performans değerleri ise deney grubunda kontrol grubuna göre farklılık oluştururken (p<0,05) son test sürat değerleri ön teste göre azalmıştır; buna karşılık 20 m sürat performans değerlerindeki değişim gruplar içinde anlamlıyken gruplar arasında anlamlı bulunmamıştır (p>0,05).
Sonuç: Voleybol antrenmanlarına ek olarak uygulanan direnç bandı çalışmaları, voleybolcularda maksimal kuvvet, sürat ve patlayıcı güç gibi temel performans bileşenlerinin gelişimine katkı sağlamaktadır.

The Effect of Resistance Band Training on Athletic Performance in Young Male Volleyball Players

Öz

Aim: The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of resistance band exercises, applied three times a week for six weeks, on maximal strength, speed, and vertical jump performance in male volleyball players.
Method: A total of 24 volleyball players playing in Junior Men's Volleyball League teams participated in the study. Twelve volleyball players aged 18.92±1.08 years who practiced resistance band training in addition to volleyball training and 12 volleyball players aged 18.08±0.90 years who continued only volleyball training were randomly divided into experimental and control groups, respectively. All volleyball players had volleyball training 5 days a week for 6 weeks. The volleyball players who practiced resistance training practiced resistance training for 30 minutes 3 days a week in addition to these trainings. The athletes in the control group did not receive any training program in addition to weekly volleyball training. Both groups performed bench press and half squat 4-6 TM strength tests, vertical jump and 10 m 20 m sprint tests before and after the study.
Results: After 6 weeks of resistance band strength training, volleyball players in the experimental group showed statistically greater increases in vertical jump performance within and between groups compared to the control group (p<0.01). It was observed that the change in Bench Press and Squat strength test values created a difference in the experimental group compared to the control group (p<0.01) and that there was an increase in strength values. While the 10 m speed performance values created a difference in the experimental group compared to the control group (p<0.05), the post-test speed values decreased compared to the pre-test; on the other hand, the change in the 20 m speed performance values was significant within the groups but not between the groups (p>0.05).
Conclusion: Resistance band exercises, which are used in addition to volleyball training, contribute to the development of fundamental performance components such as maximum strength, speed, and explosive power in volleyball players.
