Alfa Kuşağının Eğitim Süreçlerine İlişkin Görüşleri

Öz

Bu çalışmada Alfa kuşağının çeşitli eğitim süreçlerine yönelik görüşlerinin belirtilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Betimsel tarama modelinde yürütülen çalışma Türkiye genelinde tabakalı örnekleme yöntemi ile seçilen 1927 öğrenci dahil edilerek gerçekleştirilmiştir. Yapılan analizler sonucunda Alfa kuşağının gün içerisinde ödev yapma düzeylerine, okulun kendileri için önemli olup olmadığına ve devam zorunluluğu olmaması halinde okula devam edip etmeyeceklerine ilişkin bulgular elde edilmiştir. Ayrıca araştırma okul türü ve sınıf düzeyine göre farklılaşmaya da odaklanmıştır. Elde edilen bulgulara göre Alfa kuşağı öğrencilerinin %39’u gün içinde 1-2 saat zaman ayırmaktadır. Ayrıca araştırmanın bir diğer bulgusuna göre yaklaşık her beş Alfa kuşağı öğrencisinden biri okulu gerekli olarak görmemektedir. Bununla birlikte Alfa kuşağı öğrencileri okula devam zorunlulukları olmaması hâlinde büyük bir çoğunlukla okula devam etmeyi tercih etmektedir.
