KİŞİYE ÖZEL TALEPLERİN TOPLANMASI VE PLANLANMASINDA SEÇİMLİ ÜRÜN AĞAÇLARININ KULLANILMASI

Along with the globalization, technological developments and rapid rise of supply versus demand, while traditional mass production methods appeal to a wide audience has lost validity, production methods based on individual preferences of people become widespread and accordingly variety of products is increasing day by day. With this process of change, while firms are offering a variety of products to customers, in order to reduce stock costs, they tend to design modular products composed of different combinations of the same materials. In modular product system, as it is possible to combine materials in different types, it will be difficult both identifying the product combinations for the selection of each customer and also planning of customized product based on customer preferences. The aim of this study is to collect of demands, eliminate current confusion in the preparation of production and purchasing plans and find solutions to such problem. In order to achieve the so called objectives, it is examined that how bills of materials should be designed and in conclusion a new bill of material model called as “elective bill of material” is suggested. Details related to the implementation of the recomended bill of material model in a firm producing tables are presented in the study. The result reveals that the elective bill of material recommended brings a systematic, standart and simple solution for the collection of customer selection and preparation of bill of materials accorrding to customer demand

Küreselleşme, teknolojide meydana gelen değişmeler ve arzın talep karşısında hızla yükselişiyle birlikte, geniş kitlelere yönelik geleneksel seri üretim yöntemleri geçerliliğini yitirirken, kişilerin bireysel taleplerine göre gerçekleştirilen üretim yöntemleri yaygınlaşmakta ve buna bağlı olarak ürün çeşitliliği gün geçtikçe artmaktadır. İşletmeler, bu değişim süreciyle birlikte müşterilere ürün çeşitliliğini sunarken stok maliyetlerini azaltabilmek için aynı malzemelerin farklı kombinasyonlarından oluşan modüler ürünler tasarlama eğilimindedir. Modüler ürün sisteminde malzemelerin çok çeşitli şekillerde birleştirilmeleri mümkün olduğundan, her müşterinin farklı kombinasyonlarda oluşabilecek seçimi için ürünün tanımlanması, tanımlanan ürüne ait planlama yapılması zorlaşmaktadır. Çalışmada, modüler ürün imal eden ve stoklarla çalışan işletmelerde, taleplerin toplanması, üretim ve satın alma planlarının hazırlanmasında yaşanan mevcut karışıklıkların ortadan kaldırılmasına yönelik çözüm üretilmesi hedeflenmiş, söz konusu hedefin gerçekleşebilmesi için ürün ağaçlarının nasıl tasarlanması gerektiği irdelenmiş ve neticede seçimli ürün ağacı olarak adlandırılan yeni bir ürün ağacı modeli önerilmiştir. Önerilen ürün ağacının masa üreten bir işletmede uygulanmasıyla ilgili detaylar sunulmuştur. Sonuç, önerilen seçimli ürün ağaçlarının, müşteri seçimlerinin toplanmasında ve toplanan talepler doğrultusunda ürün ağaçlarının oluşturulmasında, sistematik, standart ve yalın bir çözüm sunduğunu göstermektedir
