Comparative Approaches in Business Process Management Platforms: Technology, Analysis, and a Sectoral Assessment

Öz

Business process development platforms are applications that enable organizations to generate more work and value with fewer resources. Drag-and-drop tools for workflow and process management, support from generative artificial intelligence, and low-code or no-code solutions have reduced the need for technical expertise and played a key role in automating the creation of business models. These developments have given rise to more experienced and productive users within business processes: These technologies that enable the end-to-end integration of all processes and data through next-generation plug-ins and connectivity tools have made business processes traceable and scalable. In this study, business process development platforms that allow corporate resources to be managed in a holistic and controlled way are introduced and examined in detail. By comparatively presenting the hardware characteristics of process development platforms this study aims to guide businesses in investing in the most appropriate technologies for their own scale and industry.

İş Süreçleri Geliştirme Platformlarında Karşılaştırmalı Yaklaşımlar: Teknoloji, Analiz ve Sektörel Bir Değerlendirme

Öz

İş süreçleri geliştirme platformları daha az kaynakla daha fazla iş ve değer üretilmesini etkin kılan uygulamalardır. İş akış ve süreç işlemleri için geliştirilen sürükle-bırak yöntemi, üretken yapay zekâ desteği ve daha düşük kodlu veya kodsuz çözümler teknik bilgiye olan ihtiyaçları azaltarak otomatik olarak iş modellerinin oluşmasına etken olmuştur. Bu gelişmeler iş süreçlerinde daha deneyimli ve üretken kullanıcıları ortaya çıkartmıştır: Yeni nesil eklenti ve bağlantı araçları üzerinden uçtan uca tüm süreç ve verilerin birbirine bağlanmasını sağlayan bu teknolojiler, iş süreçlerini izlenebilir ve ölçeklenebilir kılmıştır. Bu çalışmada işletme kaynaklarını bütünsel bir anlayışla ve kontrollü bir şekilde yönetmeyi sağlayacak olan iş süreçleri geliştirme platformları yakından tanıtılmaya çalışılmıştır. Süreç geliştirme platformlarının donanımsal özelikleri karşılaştırmalı olarak gösterilerek, gerçek bir firma uygulaması üzerinden işletmelerin kendi ölçeği ve sektörüne göre en uygun ve doğru teknolojilere yatırım yapması amaçlanmıştır.
